Accidental suffocation means loss of life! During the education and practical training of anti-asphyxia first aid, the students were put on the body, and the abdominal compression (Heimlich maneuver) was practiced when the respiratory airway was blocked by the foreign body, and the correct steps were made to squeeze out the blocked airway foreign body (foreign body plug). The intuitive teaching mode brought confidence and practical effect to the students. Simulators can use standing or sitting postures, with teaching AIDS or with the help of counters, tables and chairs, to practice and experience self-rescue of asphyxia, first aid, and achieve the teaching purpose of saving lives.
How to train:
1. Put the foreign body plug ball into the throat neck of the airway. Stand or kneel behind the person and place your hands around the person’s waist, making a fist with one hand.
2. The thumb of the fist is pressed against the abdomen of the patient, located on the midabdominal line above the umbilicus and under the sternum.
3. Hold the fist hand with the other hand and quickly impact the patient’s abdomen upward. Rapid shocks are repeated until the foreign body is expelled from the airway.
4. Use the back round pad for tapping training.
