Leaf structure model

In this model, the typical leaf structure is shown by the vertical and horizontal sections. The transverse section is composed of upper and lower epidermis, mesophyll and vein. The epidermis shows the stratum corneum, epidermal cells and stomata composed of guard cells, the mesophyll shows palisade tissue and spongy tissue, and the leaf vein shows the main vein, lateral vein and fine vein. The structure of the vascular bundle and its surrounding thin-walled structure are shown in the transverse section of the main vein.
